Almost 20,000 people live below the poverty line in Lafayette and the surrounding Parishes. Many do own homes, but struggle to find the money for basic repairs, others are growing older and must overcome physical disabilities to remain independent, some are threatened with permanent displacement in the wake of natural disasters. We are here to serve these people, but we can’t do it without your help.

Your contribution will enable us to further our mission of keeping low-income homeowners safe and secure in their own homes.  Support our organization with a financial or in-kind donation today, and your gift will immediately go to help individuals and families in need. By leveraging volunteer labor and donated or discounted materials, we are able to turn every dollar of your financial investment into four dollars market value in home repairs.

$25 Installs a safe and secure door lock.
$50 Provides safety grab bars to a bathtub.
$100 Repairs leaking plumbing.
$500 Replaces drafty windows and doors.
$1,000 Builds a wheelchair ramp for a disabled homeowner.
$5,000 Repairs a dilapidated and inadequate roof.
$10,000 Sponsors the entire renovation of a home in need of major repairs.
